Advancing Patient-Centred Research Down Under
Location: Aerial Function Centre, Sydney, Australia
The Advancing Patient-Centred Research Down Under conference is jointly hosted in Sydney on the 1st and 2nd of December 2025 by the Australian and New Zealand Chapters of the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR AC/NZC) and the Australian and New Zealand Special interest Group of the International Society for Quality of Life Research (ISOQOL ANZ SIG).
The 2-day conference will bring together academics, clinicians, consumers, industry representatives and policy makers with an interest in health technology assessment, health economics, patient-centred outcomes and quality of life research to showcase the cutting-edge research being conducted in Australia, New Zealand and internationally. There will be a focus on work by HDR scholars and early-to-mid-career researchers.
The conference will feature two keynote speakers, research presentations, posters and invited sessions. The first confirmed keynote speaker is Professor Melanie Calvert from the University of Birmingham.
Presentations include a focus on patient-centred health economics and outcomes research and quality of life research.
