With the announcement of the HTA review in Australia, it is timely to consider recent innovations in Health Technology Assessment (HTA) methodology. This workshop will showcase several HTA innovations such as the expanded QALY measure and use of real world evidence. The day will finish with a panel session discussing policy implications.
Confirmed speakers include Dr. Tessa Peasgood (Senior Lecturer In Health Economics at Melbourne School of Population and Global Health), Prof. Martin Hoyle (Professor of Health Innovation and Evaluation at Macquarie University), and Prof. Andrew Wilson (Chair of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Advisory Committee), with more exciting speakers to follow.
