The ISPOR Sydney Student and ECR Chapter invites you to its webinar titled, “Manuscript Accepted! Tips from HEOR editors and researchers on publishing your research” on 20 October 2021, 2-3 pm AEST.
Publishing research is a challenge for research students, and sometimes even for early-career researchers. In this webinar, we will provide the perspectives of journal editors, peer-reviewers, and prolific researchers on how to improve the chances of your health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) manuscript being published, as well as strategies for increasing the visibility of your research.
THE SPEAKERS
A/Prof. Haitham Tuffaha is an Associate Editor for Value in Health, the official journal of ISPOR the leading professional society for HEOR globally. He is also an Editorial Board Member for PharmacoEconomics – Open.
A/Prof. Gang Chen is an Associate Editor for Quality of Life Research, the official journal of the International Society of Quality of Life Research.
A/Prof. Anthony Newall is based at the School of Population Health, UNSW Sydney. His main research area is the economic evaluation of infectious disease prevention strategies. He has published over 70 peer-reviewed articles on the epidemiology and cost-effectiveness of prevention strategies for influenza, pneumococcal disease, rotavirus, and human papillomavirus.
The presentations will be followed by an interactive discussion, where the speakers will answer your questions on publishing and give you tips on how you have your next manuscript accepted!
